If I told you that I’ve never really known what to do with Gloss would you believe me? Because you should. Ever since I started this blog, standing on a crowded Sydney tram, phone sliding around in my hand, I’ve been trying to figure out what Gloss should be. Designed to help fill up boring commutes and generous lunch-breaks, Gloss was my anonymous attempt to poke fun at the modern social-driven world of tech news with a tight, limited scope and just a few articles a week (if I was lucky enough to find the time). Since then I’ve written about a trip to China, unboxed and reviewed a dozen Apple products, driven through Australian landmarks in Forza and talked about my guilty pleasure, New Girl.
I’ve also, pretty clearly, had trouble figuring out the structure and focus of the blog. Sometimes there’s a thousand word feature article, while other times there’ll be weeks with no content at all. I’ve moved from being a link blog to being a tech blog to just being an opinion site, and I’m still not sure about how Gloss should end up. I’m still trying to get the mix right.
So thanks for reading and following me so far, and be sure to tell your friends to follow us over at gloss.xyz.
